A £5000 sponsorship target
To put the panels on the church roof will cost around £15,000. We believe we can raise around £10’000 from grants and other fundraising so we are aiming to raise around £5000 from sponsorship. If 100 individuals pledge a minimum of £50 we reach our target. If companies also provide sponsorship this will make the target easier to achieve.
Individual Sponsorship
(up to a maximum of 5 at £10 each) they are very welcome to do so.
If you want to organise a fundraising event to help riase your £50 please let us know and we'll help you promote it
Company sponsorship will be £100 each. As well as your company name you may put your contact details and a brief sentence explaining what your company does.
What do I do next?
At this stage we are looking for pledges from individuals and companies. So if you are interested in sponsorship please contact Councillor Andrew Cooper with your name and contact details at andrew.cooper@kirklees.gov.uk and whether you are an individual or company sponsor and we will contact you in the New Year when we expect the project to commence. The Island of Maui in the Pacific Ocean is truly a Tropical Paradise like many of the Hawaii Islands that has used Solar and wind Energy for many years. Its Seascapes are as Beautiful as its Landscapes. Many like Hana’s by Kipahulu in Maui were the coffee maker runs on the Sun Solar Power. Her freshly picked Tropical fruit smoothies are the greatest. You make the electrical power on a bicycle for the blender to run. Banana, Mango, Papaya, Guava and of course My favorite Coconut and Pineapple are just some of what you can make.
Many of us that live and visit Maui already have Solar and Wind Energy. Very soon many more will and some day most all will be cutting the line to the Power Utilities Grid. Stopping them from putting their hands in our pocket book.
Free Energy from the Sun. WHY pay for it, to some one else? Your Local Utility Provider is NOT A valuable resource in Your Time Of Financial Need. LOOK TO SOLAR AND WIND ENERGY on the internet it has been the learning platform for our Schools and Universities for Years. In this case look to the House of GOD.
It has always been the best place for the truth. The Church and the Bible.
Many in the Island of Maui and other Islands have been off the Grid for years.
There are many Reasons Home Owners Should Consider Going Solar there has to be at least 100 Good Reasons. Soon Hawaii will Lead with showcasing Solar Energy To the World.

Implementing solar panels to each and every home, shop and place is essential as the source of energy on earth is very limited now. We need to move on with the ultimate source of energy "The Sun".
